The conference will be held at Osaka University Convention Center. This center is located at Suita Campus of Osaka University.
Osaka University, a National University founded in 1931, has traditionally attached high value to liberal ways of thinking, novelty, foresight and advanced academic research.
The University now boasts ten schools and faculties, 14 graduate schools, the Liberal Arts and Sciences Organization, the Faculty of Language and Culture, the School of Health and Sport Sciences, and five research institutes, as well as libraries, two hospitals, and over 30 research facilities.
The University has an enrollment of about 20,000 students and a staff of some 4,500. The University has two campuses, Toyonaka and Suita, with a total land area of 1.5 million square meters (370 acres). The University has actively promoted international exchange, as demonstrated by the fact that about 1,000 overseas students are now enrolled in the University and some 1,400 international researchers stay at or visit the University annually. In addition, Osaka University has concluded Memorandum for student exchange with many universities and colleges around the world for both inter-university and inter-faculty exchanges, and the number of universities and colleges that have signed such agreements with Osaka University has increased remarkably over the past few years.
