Call For Poster/Demo
The 13th International Conference on Mobile Computing and Ubiquitous Networking (ICMU2021)
Tokyo, Japan November 17-19th, 2021
Web: http://www.icmu.org/icmu2021/
Scope and Aim
ICMU2021 – The Thirteenth International Conference on Mobile Computing and Ubiquitous Networking – focuses on the active area of research and development in mobile communications, applications, algorithms, and systems as well as ubiquitous services and computing. The special focus of ICMU includes advancing technologies for next-generation distributed and ubiquitous computing where human, networked sensors, connected devices, and environments are involved. Examples of such technologies are IoT, human-centric sensing, energy-efficient mobile systems, social-networking, machine-to-machine communications, mobile cloud computing, and mobile social P2P. Not only these issues but also fundamental algorithms and theory for mobile system privacy, security, reliability, and robustness are also topics of interest. Authors are invited to submit their research contributions addressing the topics in mobile and pervasive computing and ubiquitous networking.
The topics include, but are not limited to:
- Wireless Access Technologies
- Networked Sensing, and Applications
- Mobile Device Architectures
- Mobile Systems and Applications
- Mobile Data Management and Analytics
- Mobile Multimedia
- Mobile User Interfaces and Interaction Technologies
- Mobile User Experience
- Toolkit, and Languages for Mobile Computing
- Energy-Aware Mobile Computing
- Mobile Cloud Computing
- Semantic Web Technologies
- Localization and Tracking
- Internet of Things
- Crowdsourcing
- Participatory Sensing
- Social Network Applications to Mobile Computing
- Wearable Computing
- Context and Location-Aware Applications and Services
- Body Area Networks
- Trust, Security and Privacy
- Edge Computing
- Machine Learning for Mobile and Ubiquitous Computing
- Mobile Computing for COVID-19 Management
Posters and Demos
ICMU2021 solicits posters presenting early work and preliminary results and demos. The poster and demo session will provide an excellent opportunity for feedback on research results as lively discussions. Posters and demos are solicited in all areas of mobile computing and ubiquitous networking.
All poster/demo presentations will be conducted online. Presentations will be delivered in real time using a web conferencing system. The papers of accepted posters/demos will be included in the conference proceedings and will appear in IEEE Xplore.
Poster/Demo Submission Guidelines
The submission should be formatted as a paper describing the research to be presented in the poster or demo and should be submitted as a PDF file of no more than 2 pages using the same format of ICMU2021 full papers (standard IEEE camera-ready format). The poster/demo paper should include all figures and references, and must include the names of the authors, affiliations and email addresses.
The poster/demo papers must be submitted through EDAS ( http://edas.info/N26951).
NOTE: All the authors of accepted demos/posters are required to submit a video recording of a presentation of each demo/poster. Demonstration and poster sessions will be held virtually. At least one author per paper is required to register, at the full rate (Authors can choose student registration only if the first author is a student). The papers of accepted posters/demos will be included in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore.
